EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This 7-course certificate program teaches the foundational concepts and principles of strategic people leadership. It consists of 12 months of interdisciplinary study that focuses on real world problem-solving projects grounded in solid theoretical concepts. Comprehensive leadership studies address strategy, execution, transition, engagement, personality, performance, mindset and diversity. It will provide a robust framework and proficiency in the knowledge, skills and insights needed to lead in this rapidly evolving world.
This certificate program is specifically designed to attract working professionals who are (formally or informally) responsible for a team. Each course is structured around one session of in-class theory, followed by 6 weeks of assessments, field assignments and coaching. This allows for minimal disruption to the workplace, and maximum immediate impact on results. Pre- and post-program assignments allow for measurement of effectiveness against pre-established benchmarks.
Focusing on factors that contribute to successful people leadership, this program provides key skills and insights to professionals working in corporate, academic, public sector, and not-for-profit environments. A formal interview process designed to determine experience, commitment and suitability is a prerequisite for admission into this program.
Graduates of this program earn a Certificate in Strategic Leadership from Athena Executive Education Inc.
